The HTTPS Redirect Service provided by redirect-301 allows Users to redirect HTTP traffic to HTTPS for their domain. The Service uses Let's Encrypt certificates to enable secure communication.

User Responsibilities

a. Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information when using the Service.

b. Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service.

Service Limitations

a. Certification Authority: The Service uses Let's Encrypt as the Certification Authority. Users acknowledge and agree to comply with Let's Encrypt's terms of service.

b. Subdomain Considerations: The Service primarily focuses on redirecting traffic from the root domain to a designated subdomain. Users must configure their domain's DNS settings accordingly.

User's Obligation to Secure HTTPS

While the Service facilitates HTTPS redirection, Users are responsible for ensuring the security of their web applications, including the proper configuration of their servers, compliance with security best practices, and addressing vulnerabilities.

Availability and Downtime

a. Best Effort Service: We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of the Service. However, downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

b. No Financial Compensation: Users acknowledge that the Service is provided on a "best effort" basis, and no financial compensation will be provided for downtime or service interruptions.

Termination

a. Termination by User: Users may terminate their use of the Service at any time.

b. Termination by Service Provider: Service Provider reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Service at any time for any reason, with or without notice.

Privacy

Marketing References

By using the Service, you grant redirect-301 permission to display your company name and logo on our homepage and other marketing materials as a customer reference. If you would prefer we not display your logo, please contact us and we will remove it.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
